Quinta do Soque is a prestigious winery located in the heart of the Douro region in Portugal, on the left bank of the River Torto, within the municipality of São João da Pesqueira. With approximately 20 hectares, 17 of which are dedicated to vineyards, the estate has been run by the Vicente family since 1990, who have invested in modernising the vineyards and facilities to produce high-quality wines.

The name "Soque" derives from the verb "sovar", which means to press or crush, reflecting the tradition of treading the grapes in the lagares. Winemaking at Quinta do Soque is characterised by careful methods such as fermentation in stainless steel vats with prolonged macerations and ageing in French oak barrels.
