Carcavelos Wine is one of Portugal’s oldest treasures, with origins dating back to the 18th century. Produced in a small region between Oeiras and Cascais, this fortified wine is distinguished by its rarity and unique profile. It is made through fortification with grape brandy and long oxidative ageing, which brings out complex notes of dried fruits, spices, honey, and fine wood.
Elegant and well-structured, it ranges from dry to sweet styles, always marked by a surprising freshness that balances its aromatic richness. A historic wine, produced in very limited quantities, Carcavelos represents the tradition and identity of a truly unique Portuguese wine region.
