Souvall Tinto 2021 has an intense ruby colour, already showing a reddish tinge. The aroma reveals ripe black fruits and blueberries, accompanied by notes of tobacco leaf and delicate spices. The palate is medium-bodied, with an exemplary balance between alcohol content and freshness, leading to a long, fresh and vigorous finish with hints of nutmeg and white pepper.

Este monovarietal de Touriga Nacional é o verdadeiro ex-líbris da Quinta do Cardo, proveniente da parcela histórica junto ao antigo pombal, plantada no início do século XX. De cor rubi elegante, revela no nariz notas florais, violeta e frutos silvestres. Em boca apresenta taninos sedosos, fina mineralidade e frescura elegante, com um final longo e preciso. A fermentação a baixa temperatura em cuba tronco‑cónica e o estágio de 12 meses sobre borras finas em inox — sem contacto com madeira — preservam a pureza varietal, sublinhando a altitude e o terroir granítico da Beira Interior.

Deep ruby in colour, this organic red has a complex aromatic combination of ripe red fruit, light balsamic and spicy notes and hints of cedar. The palate reveals polished tannins, an elegant structure and an enveloping finish. The use of the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties, from vines around 25 years old, gives it freshness, depth and balance. Aged in stainless steel vats and used barrels for around 8-9 months, this wine reaches 13-13.5% alcohol and harmonises well with white meats, grilled vegetables and soft cheeses.
