As this Madeira is lighter and drier, it is suitable as an aperitif and served chilled, at a temperature of 12º C. This wine was carefully aged for a minimum period of five years, in old oak casks, revealing a good balance on the palate , body and aroma. After remaining in the bottle for a long time, it will be liable to create some natural deposit. It is recommended that it be served with care not to cloud it.

Produzido em homenagem a Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira. Um vinho muito raro, só produzido em anos excepcionais, e em quantidades muito reduzidas (2200 garrafas).

Aroma muito concentrado. Com notas balsâmicas de carvalho, figo, ameixas pretas e tabaco. Sabor encorpado, firme, maduro com taninos acetinados. Notas minerais e um final complexo e persistente muito elegante.

O solo é predominantemente xistoso.

A produção destas vinhas, que têm uma densidade de plantação de 7.000 plantas por hectare, é em média de 400g por planta, o que equivale a 2,800 Kg por hectare.

González Byass Néctar é um vinho elaborado a partir da casta Pedro Ximénez.

Antes da vinificação, as uvas passam pelo “soleo”, isto é, depois de colhidas, são deixadas secar ao sol para que a água evapore e o açúcar fique mais concentrado. Depois disso, as uvas são cuidadosamente prensadas para obter um mosto com alto teor de açúcar. O mosto ligeiramente fermentado é fortificado com 15,5% vol. O vinho entra na “solera” de Néctar, onde permanecerá em média 9 anos em barricas de carvalho americano, seguindo o sistema tradicional de “solera”.

González Byass Néctar Pedro Ximénez é um vinho doce, sedoso e untuoso. Uma mistura intensa de aromas de mel, passas, figos e tâmaras, com notas tostadas de café, chocolate e alcaçuz.

Balsamic aroma, with notes of local bush, fresh red fruit and spices. Minerality of shale with aromas of fusil and chipped stone. In the mouth the first impact is fresh fruit that is quickly superimposed with the notes of spices and some smoked, dense and fresh shows a solid structure, supported by fine tannins. Its acidity always present throughout the tasting gives it length and lightness.

Quinta da Caldeirinha Extra Virgin Organic Mountain Olive Oil is a true jewel of the Beira Interior, produced with 100% organic olives harvested in high-altitude olive groves, where the harsh climate and granite soils give the final product unique characteristics. This olive oil has a luminous yellowish-green colour and a medium fruity aroma, with marked notes of olive leaf, revealing an aromatic complexity that reflects the purity of its origin.

On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with a spicy and slightly bitter flavour that confirms its richness in natural antioxidants. Its texture is fluid and elegant, ideal for enhancing simple and sophisticated dishes, from fresh salads to roast vegetables or even as a finishing touch to fish and white meat dishes.
