Gramona, based in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia in the heart of Penedès, is one of Spain’s most prestigious houses for long-aged sparkling wines and unique still wines. Managed by the same family since 1881, the estate spans five generations dedicated to viticulture and respect for the land. Their philosophy is rooted in biodynamic and sustainable farming, with manual work and a strong focus on biodiversity. The wines embody freshness, elegance, and complexity, combining tradition with innovation. The Vi de Glass is crafted using a special grape-freezing technique that preserves natural sugars and enhances aromas, resulting in sweet wines of remarkable purity and balance.
In used French oak barrels for 9 months.
Amber gold in colour, the nose shows notes of juicy limes, honeycomb, apricot and quince jam and salted pistachios. The palate is balanced with fantastic acidity and a beautiful salinity from our cool, coastal climate.
Mingorra Colheita Tardia 2021 is a sweet and elegant wine made from overripe grapes, allowing for a natural concentration of sugars and aromas. Intense golden in colour, it reveals notes of dried fruit, apricot, honey and a floral touch. On the palate it is unctuous, enveloping and balanced by the acidity that gives it freshness. Ideal with foie gras, blue cheeses or fruit-based desserts. A wine for meditation, made for special moments.
