Herdade da Mingorra, located in Beja, in the heart of the Alentejo, is a wine-growing project of great tradition and identity. The estate covers around 1,400 hectares, where vineyards occupy a significant part, in harmony with olive groves, cork oaks and pine forests. The history of this area is closely linked to Alentejo viticulture, but it has taken on a new dimension with the vision of winemaker Luís Duarte, who is responsible for bringing modernity and recognised quality to Mingorra wines. The estate's terroir combines Mediterranean soils and a hot, dry climate, perfect for the balanced ripening of the grapes. The project's philosophy combines respect for the region's agricultural tradition with technological innovation, resulting in elegant, expressive wines that are typical of the Alentejo. Today, Herdade da Mingorra is considered one of the benchmarks of the Baixo Alentejo, valuing authenticity and sustainability.
