Vinha da Roca Tinto 2021 displays a deep, bright ruby colour. The nose offers elegant ripe red fruit aromas—plum and raspberry—alongside subtle smoky hints and a refined Atlantic touch. On the palate it is smooth yet structured, with firm but polished tannins, well-balanced acidity, and a velvety texture. Vinha da Roca White 2022 has a clear, vibrant citrus colour with a limpid shine. The nose shows delicate floral aromas, fresh white fruit and a subtle minerality with an Atlantic flavour. The palate is balanced and fresh, with well-integrated acidity, medium body and a smooth texture. It reveals aromatic intensity and firm structure, ending in a persistent and elegant finish with a refined saline touch.
Made from Malvasia de Colares, Arinto and Fernão Pires, resulting from carefully selected manual harvests. Winemaking includes low temperature pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats for around a month, with intermittent batonnage for up to two more months and ageing on the lees, giving it body and complexity.
