Mateus Nicolau de Almeida and his wife Teresa Ameztoy work in a winery they call Adega do Sável (Alosa alosa). It's an "Iberian" family business rooted in the winemaking tradition of the Douro and Rioja regions, where history and innovation intersect. "We don't follow the path of our ancestors. We're looking for what they were looking for."
