The Madre de Água Touriga Nacional 2016 displays a deep ruby color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by floral notes of violet and subtle hints of leather. On the palate, it is fresh, with balanced acidity, smooth tannins, and an elegant finish. A wine that embodies the character of the grape and the Dão region.

The harmony between the Encruzado, Gouveio and Bical varieties gives this wine the characteristics of fleshy and structured wines that add exuberant aromas imbued with notes of elderflower, pineapple, peach. It is flexible and allows an authentic tasting, favored by its fruity, citrus profile and vibrant acidity, combined with its altitude, Dão Serrano.
