Mingorra Colheita Tardia 2021 is a sweet and elegant wine made from overripe grapes, allowing for a natural concentration of sugars and aromas. Intense golden in colour, it reveals notes of dried fruit, apricot, honey and a floral touch. On the palate it is unctuous, enveloping and balanced by the acidity that gives it freshness. Ideal with foie gras, blue cheeses or fruit-based desserts. A wine for meditation, made for special moments.
Herdade da Mingorra, located near Beja in the Alentejo, combines ancient history with a modern approach to agriculture. With 1,400 hectares of protected landscape, the estate is committed to precision viticulture and respect for the natural cycle of the vine. The late harvest wines require very specific climatic conditions and techniques, and are a reflection of the knowledge accumulated over generations. Mingorra Colheita Tardia is the fruit of this dedication, the result of a selective harvest that favours time, patience and detail - a true jewel of the sweet Alentejo.
In used French oak barrels for 9 months.
Amber gold in colour, the nose shows notes of juicy limes, honeycomb, apricot and quince jam and salted pistachios. The palate is balanced with fantastic acidity and a beautiful salinity from our cool, coastal climate.
