It has a typically Douro aroma, with vegetal notes of heather and cistus, on an intense fruity base of black plum and other black fruits, complemented by nuances of chocolate and spices, which give it depth and complexity. The palate is broad and flavoursome, with balanced acidity, present and lively tannins, culminating in a long finish with reminiscences of cocoa.

Comboio do Vesuvio Unoaked 2022 is vibrant and fresh. On the nose, there are clear, pure aromas of red fruits (raspberry and cherry) intertwined with subtly herbaceous floral notes of cistus and Mediterranean scrub. The palate is elegant, with well-defined wild berries and hints of fennel typical of the estate. The lively acidity cuts through the flavours, while nuances of soft spices, aromatic herbs and a slight hint of pepper emerge on a clean, persistent finish. Ideally served at 16-18 °C with red meat, roast beef or grilled meats.

Com um excelente potencial de envelhecimento é um vinho que se apresenta parceiro ideal de queijos fortes e carnes.

Bonita e intensa cor Ruby. O perfil aromático do vinho é elegante, com notas minerais em harmonia com toques balsâmicos, florais e de fruta vermelha fresca. Na boca mostra-se leve e fino, com taninos suaves mas persistentes. A boa acidez do conjunto torna-o fácil de beber e de gostar.

Cheira a Douro e a Touriga Franca, com fruta madura, notas de esteva e amoras silvestres, tudo em muito boa forma Bem impositivo na boca, com leve mineral, conjunto afinado, tudo muito bem conseguido, bonito e atraente. 18 meses de barricas novas de carvalho françês.

Pure aromatic nose is really fresh with lovely definition and great purity of sweet blackberry and raspberry fruit. The palate is fresh and supple with lovely pure summer pudding fruit and some nice spicy structure. Nicely defined.
