On the palate, it is elegant yet powerful, with juicy, well-defined tannins that lend vibrant structure and a finish marked by freshness and poise.

NOTES ABOUT THE GRAPE:

Marufo, also known as Mourisco Tinto or Mourisco Roxo, is an old Portuguese red grape variety, deeply rooted in the Douro, where it has long been part of traditional Port blends. It produces wines with light colour, ranging from pink to ruby, showing red berry and floral notes, sometimes with a hint of toffee. With smooth tannins and fresh acidity, it is also well suited for aromatic rosés. Outside Portugal it is recognised in Spain as Moravia Dulce and Trujidera. In the vineyard, yield control is recommended to enhance concentration.
