Este vinho apresenta uma cor densa, aroma a especiarias e fruta fresca com notas de chocolate preto e ameixa preta. Tem uma acidez firme ao longo da prova e apresenta um bonito final a fruta e ligeiro toque fumado.

With a bright red appearance and shallow color. On the nose it is elegant, intense and complex. It presents aromas of spices such as vanilla and coffee, as well as fresh fruit such as cherry and blackberry, which gives it complexity and finesse. In the mouth it is fresh, complex but elegant. With smooth and velvety tannins, fresh fruit notes such as red fruits, and a very balanced acidity. It is fresh and elegant, with a tasty, long and persistent finish.

It is very expressive with aromas of well-matched wild fruits. The barrel is very well integrated supported by the tannic structure. Very long aftertaste. It will improve in bottle for many years.

Vertente is a wine of great elegance and complexity, which masterfully combines the fruit and concentration of Douro wines with the freshness of Niepoort wines.

With a bright ruby color and medium concentration, Vertente is very characteristic of the year 2018. The aroma is still very young, with notes of graphite, wild berries and some black plum, combined with the complexity of the wood. A thin profile and very fresh in the mouth with some nerve and complexity, the 2018 Strand is very elegant, with a very pleasant aftertaste. It will certainly evolve very well in the bottle.

Produced in honour of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira. A very rare wine, only produced in exceptional years and in very small quantities (2200 bottles).

Very concentrated aroma. With balsamic notes of oak, figs, black plums and tobacco. Full-bodied, firm, ripe flavour with satiny tannins. Mineral notes and a very elegant, complex and persistent finish.

The soil is predominantly schist.

The production of these vineyards, which have a planting density of 7,000 plants per hectare, averages 400g per plant, which equates to 2,800kg per hectare.

With a deep ruby color, it impresses on the nose for its extraordinary complexity and aromatic freshness, with elegant notes of rockrose, wild Douro fruits and spice. In the mouth it starts in a compact way, evolving into a very seductive wine, where we can find tannins with a smooth texture in perfect harmony with retro nasal notes that remind fresh forest aromas. It finishes in a very engaging way, in perfect balance and with excellent persistence. A unique wine that expresses all the identity of the centenary Maria Teresa vineyard.

This wine forms the 'backbone' of Quinta da Boavista's portfolio and is the result of a blend made with grapes from old vines and more recent vines. In particular, this Reserva is produced using Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão and Vinhas Velhas. All these are combined with a variety of old vines from the 10 hectares of the Quinta that have vines over 80 years old.

All these characteristics lead to the creation of a very elegant and neat wine, with a ruby color, spicy nose in a background of red fruit with floral memories, which are darning in the glass. In the mouth it expands with freshness, highlighting the well-shaded fruit with soft but firm tannins, which give the whole set a great amplitude. A graceful wine, full of sophistication.

A cor cereja de média intensidade antevê um vinho delicado e elegante. O nariz confirma os predicados anteriores, revelando uma boa presença de fruta vermelha com nuances de pimenta preta, tornando o conjunto sóbrio e equilibrado. Na boca demonstra taninos polidos, mas sólidos, perpetuados por uma frescura explosiva.

Esta casta é uma das castas clássicas da região do Douro, referenciada desde 1531. Com cachos pequenos e muito compactos, com bagos pequenos e de película muito fina dá origem a vinhos genuínos e irreverentes com um perfil muito gastronómico.

Intensa cor rubi, apresenta um aroma rico e exuberante onde as notas florais sobressaem num fundo de frutos do bosque envoltos em notas mentoladas. Na boca revela vigor e complexidade, taninos maduros e uma estrutura elegante, fresca e soberana. Um vinho poderoso e intenso que vai revelando os seus mistérios ao longo da prova.

VINHO NATURAL

Zerozero é um vinho de terroir, um blend das castas que melhor se exprimem nas cotas altas do Douro. Em 2019 o lote é composto por Tinta Barroca e Touriga Nacional. Aromas primários e de fermentação são os dominantes num todo mais complexo.
