The grapes, from a 1970 vineyard, were destemmed, crushed and pressed. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (15ºC) for a period of 15 days. The wine was aged for 6 months in French oak and American oak, using batonnage twice a week for 3 months.
Citrus in colour, this is a wine with enormous aromatic complexity, with floral, slightly tropical and citrus notes. The wood is present, with notes of almond, vanilla and caramel, but never overpowering the fruit. The palate is elegant and mineral, with freshness and an unctuousness that gives it presence.
Our story arises from the enormous legacy left by our family, a passion for the land that is difficult to control and the desire to create unique wines associated with a special and unsettling terroir.
"This is a project started by our grandparents, woven over three generations, driven by the present generation, and projected onto our children."
It's been more than 100 years linked to viticulture and wine production, where the passion for this noble activity has always been passed on to us with great sincerity. All the ambition, hard work and sacrifice that our ancestors went through are always present in everything we do, filling us with pride and driving us to always do more and better.
