The aroma is one of its strengths. Not because it's intense, but because of the repertoire of red fruit, cherries, some red plums, mild smoke and dry scrub. Open and serene profile, light floral, without explosions. In the mouth, the first and main sensation is the smoothness and envelopment of the texture. Produces a feeling of freshness. It has a pleasant aromatic aftertaste, with an appealing gastronomic silhouette. Excellent example of this variety in one of its great strongholds, the region of Trás-os-Montes.
ON THE OURA RIVER, BETWEEN VIDAGO AND CHAVES, TRÁS-OS-MONTES, IN THE NORTH OF PORTUGAL, WE FIND A UNIQUE PLACE FOR WINE PRODUCTION, THE QUINTA DE ARCOSSÓ.
SITUATED IN A REGION WITH STRONG WINE-GROWING TRADITIONS DATING BACK TO THE PRE-ROMAN OCCUPATION, ITS VINEYARDS ARE SET ON A CONVEX SLOPE TO THE SOUTH AT AN ALTITUDE OF 400 METRES AND WITH A SLOPE OF AROUND 20%.
ITS GRANITE SOIL IS HOME TO CAREFULLY SELECTED WINE-GROWING SPECIES ADAPTED TO THE REGION.
IN THE WINERY WE EXPRESS THE FULL POTENTIAL OF OUR GRAPES AND MINIMISE MECHANICAL OPERATIONS.
