Garnet color with violet edge. It presents the typical characteristics of the Touriga Franca variety with exuberant floral notes of rockrose and violets, but also some less obvious suggestions of spices, eucalyptus and wild berries.
Quite vigorous on the palate, peppery, generous and full of vigor, with touches of black cherry, blackberry and subtle notes of dark chocolate. Firm but at the same time round with a persistent aftertaste.
The Quinta do Vesuvio property dates back to the 19th century and has belonged to the Symington family since 1989.
A magnificent Quinta in the Douro region, totaling around 326 hectares, of which 133 are planted with vineyards.
