Bluníssima is Monte Bluna's absolute superlative, only produced in the best years, when nature allows and art succeeds.

It comes from a vineyard almost half a century old, located in Arruda dos Vinhos, and is the result of judgement and detail. It is the gift of the best selection of grapes in the vineyard and cellar and of gentle and generous maceration, fermentation and processing, which aim for complexity, power, seduction and elegance.

Bluníssima has a deep ruby colour, and its aroma shows ripe red fruit, woodland and menthol notes and pleasant hints of leather. Well-integrated wood brings sweet spices and smoke, all set against a limestone backdrop. The palate is seductive and refined, with body and captivating freshness, structured, with robust but delicate tannins.

The best wine, when nature wants it. Men will do everything they can not to interfere in the constant labour of the vineyard, a coincidence of the Gods, giving only their humble knowledge, both traditional and technological, to maintain and protect it. Everything is done in balance with the environment, resulting in a symbiosis that constantly strives for perfection. Then time, that unknown... tranquillity and haste, because not everything has to be calm, mix serenely in a whirlwind.
