The grapes, which came from the best plots, were selected, destemmed and lightly crushed, undergoing pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures for 48 hours. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24ºC for around 12 days. The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak wood.
Deep ruby in colour, this wine is aromatically intense and complex, with an elegant presence of ripe fruit and red berries, where notes of blackberry, ripe fig and plum stand out. The wood comes through in a harmonious and well-integrated way, giving the wine nuances of vanilla, chocolate, dried fruit and a slight touch of spice. On the palate, it's a full-bodied wine with elegant tannins, a velvety structure and a long, persistent and memorable finish.
Our story arises from the enormous legacy left by our family, a passion for the land that is difficult to control and the desire to create unique wines associated with a special and unsettling terroir.
"This is a project started by our grandparents, woven over three generations, driven by the present generation, and projected onto our children."
It's been more than 100 years linked to viticulture and wine production, where the passion for this noble activity has always been passed on to us with great sincerity. All the ambition, hard work and sacrifice that our ancestors went through are always present in everything we do, filling us with pride and driving us to always do more and better.
