Every wine tells a story. Kopke's Colheitas, however, tell a unique story. To taste a wine is to taste history and, in the case of this 2007 Colheita, it means remembering a remarkable event such as the construction of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai, the tallest structure in the world at 160 floors and 828 meters high.
Golden-brown colour, with reddish highlights. Aromas of ageing in wood stand out on the nose, as well as dried fruit, spice and notes of fruit in syrup. In the mouth it is fine and sophisticated, revealing excellent volume, exuberant tannins and perfect acidity. A long and appealing finish.
